<<<The Sequel Nearly Broke Me>>>

I

nterested to hear the story of how Mind Breach, the long awaited sequel to Time Heist, nearly broke my heart and soul?

Curious to see how close I came to full-blown insanity? Perhaps you’re struggling with an albaross’ian project and need to know you aren’t utterly alone wallowing in the muck.

Well, look no further. I published an article on Medium outlining my journey into the darkness.

Back and reporting for duty now, my friend!

I had a project like that about 10-12 years ago. It put the final nail in the coffin of a bad marriage I’d been clinging too for too long. It convinced me that I still had a long way to go before I’d ever be able to write for shit. It made a doctor try to diagnose me with bi-polar disorder (which I do not have, but they think anyone with a spark of creativity and an internal drive to work not motivated by money or fame, must be mentally ill).
In the end, it made me a better, happier, more satisfied person. I’m a writer. I’m not a person who writes. I’m a real, honest-to-goodness writer. It’s what I do and who I am. I could care less if friends and family read what I write. They’re not my motivation. I am my motivation.
You keep doing what you do and tell the doubts to go sit with your mother on the couch with a bowl of chips, watching TV.

“It’s what I do and who I am.” <-- I love it, Jenna. Absolutely love it. Let's all just go ahead and send our doubts to the couch to sit with a bowl of chips. They can have a GoT viewing party while the rest of us write our next story.
