“If you are going to try, go all the way.”

The weekend has come and gone, and now it’s time to dive into another week of work, right?

Wrong, bucko!

The weekend does not mean workend. On the contrary, if anything, it means “time to double down and work even harder“. Whatever it is you want to achieve in your life, whatever goals you’ve set, whatever dreams you’ve written on a napkin and tucked away in the drawer where nobody will ever stumble upon it, whatever that thing is that you want, I guarantee it does not care if it’s the weekend.

Your dreams do not care that you’re tired. Your goals do not care what day it is.

Your legacy will not be defined only by what you did between 9-5, Monday through Friday.

To that end, today we’re getting our weekly enema of motivation from Charles Bukowski whose famous words, “Find the thing you love and let it kill you” reside on the wall in my office.

:

So how are you going to go all the way today? This week? This weekend?

How are you going to do it?

Get down to the comments and let me know.

If you don’t know how you’re going to do it, get down to the comments and say that. Maybe we can find a way together!

You know I made it my mission not to work on weekends? Now I might need to revisit that strategy… or I could sleep off the guilt. It is only Tuesday after all.

Not stumble over excuses and in times of doubt, remember the bigger picture, the end game..
