The Earth We Forgot
Here’s a little sci-fi short I stumbled across this morning: The Earth We Forgot by Olof Storm. The dialogue is sort of cheezy, but it grows on you. The animation is incredibly simplistic, but that, too, grows on you.

Reminds me of a 1970s cartoon style, but that is a current 2015 video, right? Also, you are right in that the video does grow on you, especially the idea of a benevolant AI.
Liked the robot. Really simplistic animation but the thoughts are great.
The underlying message was pretty lovely, an interesting juxtaposition to an otherwise simplistic animation. How’ve you been Noelle? We haven’t chatted in awhile.
